Enrichment Classes
Science
Lily's Garden's bright young scientists discover more about the world around them by focusing on a new theme every month. The themes include everything from climate to personal hygiene to safety! In our science class, the budding scientists are given a hands-on learning experience, doing everything from conducting the classic baking soda and vinegar experiment to growing their very own plants in our garden.
Social Studies
In the Social Studies Program, students learn the different states and their capitals.
Spanish
Hola! Como estas? Cual es tu nombre? In Spanish class, students are taught by faculty who are native Spanish speakers. They learn the Spanish alphabet, the Spanish Calendar, and commonly used Spanish phrases. To get in touch with the Spanish culture, students sing and dance to Spanish music and celebrate the Mexican Holiday of Cinco de Mayo! As Spanish is rapidly becoming one of the most popular and useful languages to learn, we believe in exposing children to the language at an early age.
Dramatic Play
"All the World's a Stage!" In Dramatic play, students foster their creative side by reading stories aloud and acting out plays with one another. Young actors and actresses welcome.
Music
Piano! Violin! Drums? In Music class, students are exposed to a wide variety of musical instruments and are given the opportunity to try each of them. Additionally, they develop their fine motor skills and coordination through singing and dancing to choreography with their peers.
Arts & Crafts
Our young artists explore textures, colors, and design to begin to develop their personal tastes. Come every major Holiday (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, etc.), you can be sure that the students of Lily's Garden will be hard at work creating their next masterpiece!
